Caching-related browser bugs
Sometimes the caching problem is not the way the server or proxy is set up, it is a bug in the browser. Thorough testing of websites for display problems has always meant using multiple browsers, and testing for caching problems is the same. There are lots of caching-related bugs in Netscape and in Internet Explorer, and sometimes we have to work around them.
Take a look at the browser bugs below and perhaps you'll find the problem is in your browser, and not in the site.
